Alice in Wonderland series of photography illustration for this book by Lewis Carroll is artwork of Boston based photographer Abelardo Morell. Instead of using real people, he managed to mesh real life objects and the 2D pictures from the story. When he began to make photos he had in mind that books themselves should form the architecture and landscape where the story takes place. Traveling to Wonderland could seem, after all, to be an experience very much like that of walking across the pages of a story-like going deep into a book.
